Local people share their stories of recovery and loss with others to make a difference in how we perceive addiction as a disease. Alumni in Recovery created these videos for schools to use during the pandemic and COVID-limited gatherings.
Schools can utilize the videos in a multitude of ways. They can assign students to watch the videos at home and answer questions or write essays. Families can watch these videos in the convenience of their own homes and open the conversation surrounding the topic of addiction.

Additionally, schools can use this as a restorative practice for detention purposes. When a student acts out or gets in trouble, the videos can be used to relate to and recognize behaviors they might notice in themselves. Our Video Library can also be used in conjunction with live presenters or virtual presentations.
