Pizza Positivity Project
This project — the start of many — sends a treat and words of hope to those in treatment facilities that could use extra inspiration and kindness from strangers.
Often, people in early substance abuse treatment are struggling with withdrawal, cravings, and other physical complications such as depression and severe anxieties. To help ease their recovery, students and police officers rallied together to help the
PIZZA POSITIVITY PROJECT
come to life and thrive.
Every Monday, funds are raised to purchase a nice hot pizza from local pizzerias, with deliveries sent to Bergen New Bridge Medical Center’s detox and rehabilitation units. Attached to each pizza is an inspirational note or letter.
