Our organization is two-fold in speaking to the public: young people in recovery & parents who have lost loved ones to addiction-related deaths. They are real-life local voices sharing their stories and experiences to help to change the perception of substance misuse and addiction.
See programs below.
Presentations for students & parents.
The AinR™ speaking program is a peer-to-peer approach with a primary goal of bringing in relatable local people and, optimally, alumni of the schools. AinR™ Parent Program features parents who have lost their children to overdose deaths. Parent Members speak alongside Recovery Members showing unity of the recovery and grieving communities working together.
We can help you plan an assembly-style speaking or classroom-style presentation; either option brings an impactful message to your students and community. All members are vetted through our AinR™ Speaker Guidelines and coordinators.
Alumni In Recovery speaker presentations are free, but we greatly appreciate donations!
